The board of the Clothing Bank is made up of volunteers. Board members are appointed indefinitely. The current board members are:

Herman Kers, chairman (since Jan. 1, 2022)

Since January 1, 2022, I have been Chairman of the Board and I do so with great pleasure. I have been socially active for many years and it gives me satisfaction and energy to contribute to society in all its aspects, in addition to a paid job. I have done that in administrative positions at a trade union, a school group, a housing corporation and at a cycling club, among others. It is inspiring to see how others are also committed in these areas and to be able to contribute to and learn from them.

Linda Heuperman, general board member (since Jan. 1, 2021)

I have been involved with the Clothing Bank since February 2021. I perform my role as a board member of the Clothing Bank with great pleasure. All the more so because, in addition to my "business life", I really enjoy putting time and energy into a socially driven organization such as the clothing bank. Previously I have held board positions for the Animal Protection Society both in Amstelveen and regionally. The clothing bank has inspired me. I also give usable and modern clothing a second life.

Henk Jurriansen, secretary (since Oct. 1, 2024)

I know the social landscape of Amstelland like no other. For many years, I served on the board of an educational group and as coordinator of Humanitas Thuisadministratie Amstelland. In 2016, I helped launch the financial cafés in collaboration with Participe Amstelland. In this role, I can make a difference for people who have lost their way in our society. For this reason, in 2024 I also took the initiative to establish an emergency fund in Amstelveen. This led to the founding of the Stichting Urgente Noden Amstelveen in 2025. Through this, I can contribute to the fight against poverty in Amstelveen.

Amit Parulekar, Treasurer (since January 1, 2025)

I have worked for various financial institutions in the Netherlands and abroad as a banking and financial consultant. In addition, I served as treasurer of the Royal Dutch Cricket Association for 10 years. Now I am more active at the local level, including as treasurer of the Stichting Urgente Noden (SUN) Amstelveen. I live in Amstelveen, am married, and have one adult son.
